Laura Doherty - Kids In The City

Laura Doherty is the director of Chicago's popular early-childhood Wiggleworms program at the Old Town School of Folk Music. Armed with her acoustic guitar she gets kids and families movin' and groovin' to her original toddler-friendly pop tunes. Her newest CD Kids In The City contains original songs for the "urban toddler". Using Chicago as her inspiration, Doherty writes about the El Train, skyscrapers, the farmer's market, the zoo and all of the wonders of the city, as seen through a child's eyes.

Kids in the City is a GOLD winner of the 2009 NAPPA awards, presented by National Parenting Publications!
